Alliance for 401(k) Freedom

We are your source for the latest updates and insights shaping America’s 401(k) landscape.

About Us.

America has a serious retirement crisis. Many are woefully unprepared for a financially secure retirement. As defined benefit plans (pensions) have been largely replaced by defined benefit plans (401k plans), it is incumbent upon American workers to make the most of their retirement savings plan.

The Alliance for 401(k) Freedom is a consortium of financial institutions, professionals, academics, and other individuals and organizations who are striving for optimal use of defined contribution plans that American workers must utilize to their fullest extent to insure a financially secure retirement.

We stand against any public, private, or corporate policy that hinders, rather than improves, the American workers utilization of their 401(k), 403(b), or 457 plan.
